In this immersive exhibition, Omid Asadi explores the diasporic experiences and domestic spaces of migrants using the concept of heterotopia (literally meaning ‘other places’). When people are disconnected from their roots and familiar environment, cultures, philosophies, histories and communities are brought together, creating a unique and idiosyncratic reality.
